The same story can become

A fair tale or a tragedy.

The same line can mean

Opposite things.

Fantasies live on

The verge of sanity.

One step further is

The fathomless ocean

Of brain killers.

Ah, but how beautiful

The fantasies are!

I have been using Commercialization of Intimate Life for my Emotions class. The penetration of the money logic into family life is pervasive. I understand there is quite some scholarship on education and consumerism. A critical perspective is insightful to understand the logic behind the social phenomena we now live in.
